Biography
Bruce Fair practices law with a focus on commercial litigation as well as bankruptcy and creditor rights. He provides his clients with comprehensive legal services in the mortgage and banking industry, specializing in contract, foreclosure, and real estate law.
Representing lenders and individuals in residential real estate transactions, Bruce handles complex negotiations while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. His extensive experience supports him as he advocates on behalf of clients in bankruptcy, housing, superior, and appellate courts.
While he served in the United States Navy, he studied at night, connecting with a professor who became a mentor. Through this teacher, Bruce discovered that he could combine his interest in business, fostered by his father’s own professional experiences, with the appeal of the law. He would be introduced to attorneys practicing mortgage foreclosure while working at Bridgeport Superior Court out of law school, joining their firm for more than two decades.
Familiar with Neubert, Pepe & Monteith by reputation, Bruce had always considered our attorneys to be experienced and highly competent, and is now pleased to both confirm his impression and discover a culture he enjoys.
When not practicing law, Bruce plays hockey and is passing his love of the game to his son as team coach.
