Biography

Christina A. Noiva is a paralegal with extensive experience in Creditor Rights, such as residential and commercial foreclosures and bankruptcy. At Neubert, Pepe, & Monteith, P.C., she assists attorneys regarding these matters.

Ms. Noiva started her career as a Legal Assistant in Burlington Vermont in 2006 working in creditor’s rights. She received her degree in Paralegal Studies from Champlain College in 2007. She graduated cum laude and completed the Honors Program and was a Dean’s List candidate from Fall 2005-Fall 2007. Over the last 14 years, in addition to Creditor’s Rights, Ms. Noiva has handled matters regarding corporate and residential real estate closings, conducted title searches and prepared title reports for the attorney. Other matters include contract collections, small claims, will and trust, criminal litigation, and civil litigation.

Ms. Noiva manages the preparation and filing of various pleadings and motions throughout the course of the foreclosure process with the civil court of the State of Connecticut and bankruptcy process with the Federal Bankruptcy Court for the State of Connecticut. She handles the request of title searches, military searches, skip trace, and appraisals. She assists with recording of deeds, assignments, lis pendens and releases in the land records, and ensure receipt of recording. Ms. Noiva assists with preparation of title claim packages and contested pleadings and exhibits and prepares files for the attorney for mediation hearings. Additionally, she provides attorney support with client communication, such as providing status of foreclosure and bankruptcy matters in a variety of case management systems while ensuring files proceed according to investor timelines. She assists with short calendar review, marking, and notification and handles billing preparation in accordance with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines. When requested by the client, Ms. Noiva assists with audit and compliance projects.
