Lucas B. Rocklin Named a New Leader in Law 2014

New Haven, Connecticut (July 15, 2014) – Mr. Lucas B. Rocklin, a partner with the law firm Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C., has been selected by the CT Law Tribune as one of the “New Leaders in the Law” for 2014. In their congratulatory letter, the CT Law Tribune notes that Attorney Rocklin was one of 60 attorneys selected after rigorous review of the nearly 300 nominated of the best and brightest attorneys in Connecticut.

Attorney Rocklin practices commercial litigation, bankruptcy law and employment law, with a concentration in the areas of banking law and bank litigation. Mr. Rocklin is credited with significant accomplishments in his practice area, including prosecuting a foreclosure lawsuit that resulted in a clarification on foreclosure law, and successful litigation at the Second Circuit Court of Appeals involving a lawsuit between a secured creditor and consignees. His nomination further notes that in a short period of time, Lucas has cultivated and assumed primary responsibility for some of his firm’s most substantial banking clients and has become the go-to person for bank litigation.

In addition to being named a “New Leader in the Law,” Attorney Rocklin for six consecutive years (2009- 2014) has also been named a “Rising Star” attorney by Connecticut Magazine and New England Super Lawyers Magazine, an award given to no more than 2.5 percent of eligible attorneys. A resident of Cheshire, CT, Attorney Rocklin is also active in the legal community, as a Co-Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee for the New Haven County Bar Association, and a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and American Bar Association.
