Joseph J. Andriola Serves as American Moot Court Association Judge
November 21, 2022Joseph J. Andriola, partner in the firm’s litigation practice, served as judge through the quarterfinal rounds for the American Moot Court Association regional tournament at Yale University on November 11 and 12, 2022. Twenty-four teams competed for the opportunity to advance to the AMCA National Tournament in January 2023. The Tournament simulated a Supreme Court case with two constitutional issues, a fourth amendment challenge to the use of a drone by law enforcement and an eighth amendment challenge to a juvenile sentenced to prison with parole eligibility only upon serving 50 years.
Attorney Andriola leads a team of talented litigators handling a diverse caseload defending property and casualty claims, professional liability, insurance coverage issues, as well as automobile related litigation. He has extensive arbitration and trial experience and a record of successful verdicts. He has led the defense of multi-party actions involving general tort litigation, automobile accidents (including UM/UIM), and construction defects.
