Colleen M. Garlick Appointed to the CBA Young Lawyers Section Executive Committee

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (May 24, 2016) – Attorney Colleen Garlick of the law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA). She assumes the position of co-chair of the litigation committee for the 2016-2017 year, starting this July.

The Young Lawyers Section of the CBA has as its primary goals the promotion of justice, the encouragement of public service, and the promotion of diversity and education of young lawyers and newly admitted practitioners. Attorney Garlick plays an active role in public service, such as her volunteer position as a mock trial judge for the Connecticut Middle School Mock Trial Competitions. She recently completed a board leadership program conducted by the Institute for Effective Governance to prepare for service on a not for profit organization’s board. Attorney Garlick was one of two associates at the firm selected to participate in this leadership program.

Colleen Garlick practices with the firm’s Construction Law & Design Professionals Liability and Medical Malpractice & Hospital Liability Defense practice groups. She represents engineers and other construction professionals and defends hospitals, doctors, and physicians groups. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut state and federal courts.
