Attorney Sklar has been actively engaged in the litigation of general civil and commercial matters. Attorney Joy’s practice focuses on commercial and residential foreclosures.
Claudia Sklar’s general civil and commercial litigation practice has an emphasis on creditors’ rights including commercial and residential foreclosures, commercial law, and title insurance litigation. Another major focus of her practice centers around protecting and preserving the rights of same sex couples, LGBTQIA clients and their families. She is a skilled mediator resolving many contested matters through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Attorney Sklar graduated summa cum laude from Adelphi University and was an honors graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law.
Joshua Joy’s practice in commercial and residential foreclosures has a significant emphasis on litigating contested foreclosures and resolving complicated title issues. Attorney Joy has experience in matters concerning collections, insurance defense, property rights and mediations. Attorney Joy earned his B.A. from the University of Connecticut, and his J.D. from the Quinnipiac University School of Law.
