Andrew R. Lubin Joins BHcare Board of Directors

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (April 5, 2018) – Andrew R. Lubin, principal, of the law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. has recently joined the Board of Directors of the social service organization BHcare.

BHcare’s mission is to provide comprehensive behavioral health, prevention and domestic violence services that improve the lives and health of the individuals, families and communities served. BHcare provides services throughout greater New Haven, lower Naugatuck Valley and the Shoreline. A recent BHcare public service announcement stresses the need to break the cycle of silence that surrounds mental illness, addiction and domestic violence. Attorney Lubin has been an active supporter of BHcare’s mission and programs. He states, that he is “honored to be given a leadership role in the organization and looks forward to his work on the board.”

In addition to his recent appointment, Attorney Lubin is a board member of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Trumbull Inland Wetland Commission. He has previously served on the board of the Domestic Violence Services of Greater New Haven, Inc., was board president of Make-A-Wish foundation of Connecticut, Inc., and a board member of Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, Inc.

Attorney Lubin practices primarily in the areas of commercial real estate and commercial finance law, providing clients with counsel and representation about the wide array of issues presented by real estate acquisition, ownership, development, financing and leasing. He heads the firm’s real estate practice group, which is rated by “Best Law Firms” as Metropolitan Tier 1. Attorney Lubin has developed a subspecialty in closing both SBA 7a and 504 Loans and is one of only a handful of lawyers in the State of Connecticut who have received a “Designated Attorney” certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
