Biography
Lauren T. Astone is a litigation attorney with a focus on professional liability and medical/dental malpractice defense, as well as insurance and employment law defense. She handles multiple aspects of litigation, including initial case assessment, managing discovery, and preparing dispositive motions. She has advocacy experience at both the trial level and before administrative agencies, including the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.
Lauren earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School with a concentration in Health Law. While in law school, she served as a Dean’s Fellow for the Fundamentals of Lawyering Program for two years and was a member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal.
Upon graduating from law school, Lauren served as a legal research clerk with the Connecticut Superior Court, assisting trial judges in connection with legal research and drafting numerous court decisions.
Lauren is admitted to practice in Connecticut.
