Biography
Kari Mitchell represents debtors, creditors, committees, and trustees in bankruptcy matters. She has extensive experience in Chapter 11 reorganizations and in bankruptcy litigation. Kari appreciates the technical nature of the bankruptcy code and enjoys devising practical solutions to the complex problems that can arise in any case.
Kari was formerly a trial attorney with the United States Trustee Program—an arm of the Department of Justice overseeing bankruptcy cases—which she joined through the Attorney General’s Honors Attorney Program. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, magna cum laude, and received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
Out of the office, she loves being with her family and friends, spoiling her dog, and pursuing another passion: cooking.
