Grace Hong

Biography

Grace Hong practices in the areas of insurance defense and insurance coverage, representing individuals, municipalities, and businesses in a broad range of civil litigation. Her practice includes personal injury, premises liability, employment matters, and insurance coverage disputes.

A Connecticut native, Grace earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut. She chose to return home after four years in Washington D.C. to reunite with friends and family and, as she describes it, the state that she missed while living in the nation’s capital.

Before entering private practice, Grace served as an Assistant Attorney General for the District of Columbia’s Office of the Attorney General, where she represented the government in juvenile delinquency proceedings. She prosecuted a wide range of offenses, including firearm offenses, robberies, carjackings, and felony assaults. She independently managed a full caseload, handling arraignments, detention hearings, evidentiary hearings, plea negotiations, and bench trials. Early in her career, Grace won her first felony bench trial after prevailing on a contested motion to suppress physical evidence, an experience that refined her legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.

Today, Grace uses these skills to serve the clients of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. She engages in thorough review of documents and analysis of her cases to deliver effective representation for her clients.
