Attorney Claudia M. Skar: Speaker ALFN Summit
April 30, 2024Claudia M. Sklar, principal, will speak at the American Legal & Financial Network “ALFN” second annual IDEA Summit, May 1-2, which promises to be a unique opportunity to learn, collaborate, and drive positive change in the areas of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Awareness.
Attorney Sklar will moderate the featured event session titled Fostering Year-Round Inclusivity for LGBTQ+ Colleagues. Joining her will be speakers Lance Thames, senior director compliance with McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLC, Leslie M., transgender education and advocacy associate at Resource Center, and M. Christine Maggard, senior associate attorney with Brock & Scott, PLLC. The group will discuss the concepts of bringing a whole self to work and the importance of pronouns as they support inclusivity for LGBTQ+ colleagues.
