Gregory J. Pepe Selected to Serve on the New Haven Green Advisory Committee

The proprietors of the New Haven Green have brought together eleven people from the greater New Haven community to work on plans to expand the ways the Green can be enjoyed by the public. The newly formed group is called the New Haven Green Advisory Committee and will meet periodically over the next year to develop plans to make the Green more enjoyable, safer, and possibly enhanced with some limited development supporting food, gatherings, and activities. Greg states that he is honored to have been asked to join this committee. The Committee will also look to honor the heritage of the Green as New Haven’s undeveloped 16-acres in the core of the original 9 symmetrical squares set aside when New Haven Colony was established in the year 1638.
