Gregory J. Pepe Selected as a “New Haven Power 50” Awardee
April 22, 2020Gregory J. Pepe, founding principal with the law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C., has been selected by New Haven BIZ as one of the “New Haven Power 50” awardees for 2020. He joins this year’s cohort of fifty area business and community leaders. New Haven BIZ states that New Haven is a fertile and dynamic business arena with ideas, enterprises and leaders deserving, in fact demanding, of attention.
Co-founded with partners Michael Neubert and Deborah Monteith Neubert, the firm has been providing legal services for over 25 years. Having grown to 31 attorneys, the firm’s most recent expansion was with last year’s acquisition of a law firm in Hartford, CT.
In addition to a thriving law practice, Greg Pepe is committed to civic engagement. He is a founder and former President of the Board of Leeway, Inc. a not-for-profit residential facility for people with AIDS. Attorney Pepe served as board chair of New Haven’s Town Green Special Services District and The Institute Library. He is a board member of The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, serving as chair of the Audit Committee. Additionally, attorney Pepe is on the Dean’s Advisory Committee for the Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he also teaches healthcare law. He recently received an award from The Connecticut Hospice in recognition of his legal pro bono work on behalf of the organization.
