Heart disease is the No 1 killer of women in the US, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined as noted by the American Heart Association Go Red for Women campaign. The Go Red for Women Day on February 7 is a national fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for women’s heart health issues. Nancy Kinsella, a partner at Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, encourages her colleagues to join the fight against heart disease; the silent killer.
