About Employment & Labor Law

Neubert, Pepe & Monteith's Employment & Labor Law group efficiently helps clients address human resource issues consistent with each unique workplace culture and tolerance for risk. We work with individuals, companies and labor unions of all sizes over the gamut of industries. Our overall goal is to help our clients achieve practical solutions.

Neubert, Pepe & Monteith provides a complete range of labor and employment legal services. We regularly offer counsel in areas such as reorganization, restructuring, and reductions in force counseling. Additionally, we offer counsel for wage and salary administration and workers compensation and unemployment compensation matters. The Employment & Labor Law group is also skilled in helping clients meet and maintain regulatory compliance. Compliance matters address the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Connecticut Fair Employment Act (CFEPA) regulations. Additionally, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and other federal and state statutory and regulatory laws.

Neubert, Pepe & Monteith also provides retirement and tax planning advice and documentation to hundreds of tax-qualified retirement plans. We advise all forms of business owners (sole proprietors, family businesses, professionals, developers, and municipalities) on the design, implementation, documentation and legal compliance of varied plans. These include retirement, health, dental, life insurance, and cafeteria plans.
