NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (October 15, 2019) – Kevin Godbout, a Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. principal, was a panelist for the presentation of the Connecticut Supreme Court’s recent Girolametti v. Michael Horton Associates, Inc., 332 Conn. 67 (2019), decision at a meeting of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Construction Law Section earlier this month. The decision, which was a victory for the Firm’s client, is of broad significance to Connecticut construction law for its holding that subcontractors are presumptively in privity with the general contractor on a construction project for the purposes of res judicata. A copy of the decision is linked to the case title above.

Attorney Godbout has a broad range of experience in the practice areas of construction and professional liability defense. His practice includes representing architects, engineers, land surveyors, attorneys and accountants involved in disputes both in and out of court.
